Description
Before Prof Tolkien appeared in my reading landscape, there were the 'Endless Quest' Game books. And before I picked up my first manga, there was the illustrations by Timothy Truman.
Return to Brookmere and Mountain of Mirrors were both borrowed from a classmate(which probably added to the somewhat forbidden thrill of discovering a new world). It was in these books where I first discovered elves were not just little creatures in green suits and pointy shoes, and I had the biggest crush on Tim Truman's illustrations long before I started viewing art not just as pretty pictures, but also a craft to be studied and honed.
So here's from left, Sissel and Brion from Return to Brookmere and Landon from Mountain of Mirrors, leaves of memory fluttering up unexpectedly from a time when afternoons were lazy and endless and the future was a vague, faraway concept. Good times.

Note to colorists: If you choose to color this line art and finish it, do let me know! A link and stuff would be great, but it's really so I can see the finished work. Plus, I'd love to check out your other work as well

Wow, I remember those books! Loved the heck out of them, especially when one company managed to get permission to do a couple of them based on Anne McCaffrey's Pern books! Makes me want to go see if I can scare up some copies of them.
